I think I am addicted to Googling. I love my floating search box. I put everything I come across into it and look forward to the interesting answer it will come up with. I am embarrassed to even write all of the things that I have Googled. Let me just say, if you can't find it by Googling, you must not have put in the right search terms. If it hadn't been for Google, I would not have my friends. Through one of my many Internet searches while I was pregnant, I came across Lisa Rubin of The Good Birth Company and it was through one of her amazing Mothers' Groups that I met my first mommy friends. It has been an amazing journey. All of the advice I receive, I Google...just to see how it worked for anyone else who was willing to write about it on the Internet.
Anything I want to buy, I check to see where I can find it better, faster, cheaper. One of my other awesome finds was Rebbecca Rosen of The Breastchester. I think she saved my sanity. Who else will come to your house to help you find the right bra? (I think she's an angel.) I cannot fathom how I would get by without my favorite search engine. What a sense of accomplishment to find the solution without having to consult with anyone (do you think the people on the internet count?). Well, I'm proud of my finds and that's most of the reason I started this Blog. So I could have a place to share them. Feel free to check out my favorites. Some of the links are pretty helpful and handy! (If I do say so, myself.)
Have you heard...?
As a relatively new mom, I am always looking for new ideas and other mommy "intel". Thought others might be in search of the same and wanted to post it somewhere. My parenting "style" does not fall into a neat little category so the views presented here will probably have a little for everyone. Hope you hear it first from me! :-)
